Rolyan Hand-Based In-Line Splint
The Rolyan Hand-Based In-Line Splint provides support to the hand, with focus on the metacarpophalangeal (MCP) joints. It is made from reinforced neoprene, and includes a supportive strap over the MCP area.
Indications of the Hand-Based In-Line Splint
The Hand-Based In-Line Splint is designed to protect the MCP joints. It can be used by individuals at home, for example if they find that their arthritis affects their lower knuckles and would benefit from the support of a hand splint. As the reinforced neoprene material prevents overstretching with continual use, it can be utilised frequently as and when required.
The splint will also be practical for use in clinics where patients are receiving treatment for medical conditions affecting the hand and MCP joints. The 2.4mm neoprene remains supportive without bulkiness, and also retains warmth for improved comfort, thus making it suitable for a wide range of patient requirements.
Sizing of the Hand-Based In-Line Splint
The Hand-Based In-Line Splint is available for both the right and the left hand, with a choice of four sizes for a more accurate fit. To determine the size required, measure the circumference of the wrist. Your chosen size can be selected from the drop-down menu at the top of the page.
